Quantity surveyors the Gates Construction Consultants has been awarded ISO 9001 certification.
The award for quality is supported by the Government and recognised worldwide. The award recognises Queen Annes Battery-based Gates' commitment to service.
Senior partner David Coles said: "Gates is delighted to have been accredited with ISO 9001 certification and it is wonderful to recieve this recognition.

Established since 1945, the core of Gate's business is tradistional quantity surveying, but the practice has developed to provide a wide range of services including project management, employer's agent as well as cost planning, funding advice and sourcing.

The firm has worked on schemes in Plymouht including the £1.7million design and build project comprising of the demolition of the exlisting Raglan Barracks building and the construction of 24 homes and the construction of 32 self-contained flats at St Barnabas Court, in Stuart Road, Stoke in association with Sarsen Housing Association and Plymouth City Council.
